DIAC Board of Directors Chooses President-Elect

Jamie Matera, president of the Dental Industry Association of Canada (DIAC), is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of DIAC has unanimously elected Susanne Currie, Director for Member Communications, as DIAC’s next President for a two year term commencing with the DIAC Annual Meeting in May of 2012.

Tongue Sore

I have recently been scraping my tongue across my teeth, and wedging it in between grooves of my teeth, causes a sore spot on my tongue. I am in a lot of pain. There are also raised red taste buds throughout the rest of my tongue. It if finals week at my University, so I think this action is caused my stress. I have also been drinking a lot of coffee. How can I correct this problem? What can I use to help the pain?

Try not to irritate/ aggravate it any more.  You might apply any over -the-counter oral ointment/moisturizer/lubricant like orabase as directed.
