Since 1996, MedicineNet.com has used a panel of medical professionals to provide up-to-date medical information. There are self-help quizzes, pictures of various diseases, and even a guide to symptoms and related causes.
MedlinePlus from the National Library of Medicine is updated daily to provide you with a medical encyclopedia, medical dictionary, health information in Spanish, as well as information on prescription and non-prescription drugs. Most importantly, there is no product advertising or product endorsements.
NIH Senior Health is a website created for the senior population by the National Institutes of Health. There are exercise videos, and an easy to use search-able database organized alphabetically by topic. You can even increase the text size, color, or hear the text read to you by clicking the buttons on the top of each page!
KidsHealth.orgis a family-friendly site that has information on topics of interest to parents, kids, and teens. There are articles about pregnancy, growth and development, medical problems and even recipes. All the topics in this website are reviewed by a medical professional.
