Our cover subject Dionne Warwick recently attended a town hall meeting in Harlem, N.Y., to tackle efforts to reduce the high numbers of African Americans with HIV. After an impassioned speech, Warwick also told HIV Plus magazine that she was inspired to “stop talking and start doing” something about HIV by seeing many people around her succumbing to the virus.
